According to a recent job listing, it looks like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel will see the return of proper dungeons.  While many of the temples in the original Breath of the Wild were fun with some interesting puzzles, they weren’t quite the same as having the kind of dungeons that the series is known for, especially when it comes to exploration, challenges, puzzles and maybe even a boss battle.

We got our first hint with the E3 2019 reveal that dungeons will return, as it looked like both Link and Zelda were exploring one in the gameplay footage.  However, a Japanese job listing advertising a terrain designer position, mentions that designing dungeons will be one of the tasks at hand.  The advertisement requires any would-be employee to work on “field dungeons” and “game event(s)/dungeon/field planning.

So there you have it, it looks like proper dungeons may be returning in the Breath of the Wild sequel.  Are you happy with this news or are you happy with the temples that featured in the original Breath of the Wild?  Let us know across our social media channels.
