Two Point Hospital Out Now on Console, Here’s its Launch Trailer and New Modes Announced!

Finally, what is considered to be the spiritual successor to the beloved Theme Hospital is here on consoles with Two Point Hospital.  This humorous hospital simulator actually released on PC two years ago, but the developers at Two Point Studios have been hard at work to ensure that the console port is fully optimised to its best potential.  While it’s a different studio, the likes of Jurassic World: Evolution are added proof that this management sim genre can also succeed coming from PC to console.

Two Point Hospital on console will come bundled with the two previously released expansions, Bigfoot and Pebberley Island.  Yet, that is not all, because it will come with two additional PC modes, Sandbox and The Superbug Initiative.  However, we’ll have to be a little ‘patient’ (sorry, I couldn’t resist at least one pun), because these two additional modes won’t arrive until March 31st, but they will come via a free update.  The Superbug Initiative mode in particular sounds quite interesting, as it will require players from across the world to work together to complete challenges which will unlock new in-game content.

Two Point Hospital is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One (also via Game Pass) and Nintendo Switch.  We’ll have our console port review coming soon, but in the meantime, you can read our full PC review here.
