Here’s the Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Launch Trailer to Build the Hype!

It’s another day, and that means it’s another Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath trailer and this time it’s the launch trailer ahead of its release next week.  In the latest trailer we get to see a bit of everything including the continuation of the story from Aftermath following the conclusion of the main campaign with cut-scene and gameplay snippets, as well as some of the new characters, stages and fatalities.

The Aftermath expansion will not only include the story expansion, but also the returning Sheeva and Fujin, as well as guest fighter Robocop, based upon the best version of the cybernetic law-enforcer from the first two movies, featuring the voice and likeness of Peter Weller.  All three new characters will also get three new skins each.  Launching alongside the expansion is a free update that will add four new stages, Dead Pool, Soul Chamber, RetroKade and Kronika’s Keep (with stage fatalities) and the return of the 90’s favourite, Friendship (fatalities).  Additionally, you will also receive a “Thanks a Million” Johnny Cage skin.

The Aftermath expansion will be available to purchase on its own for those that already own the main game, as well as in a Kollection that includes the base game and the Kombat Pack (which features Terminator, among many other new characters).

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath will release for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on May 26th.  You can also read our review of Mortal Kombat 11 here.
