Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 Soundtracks Revealed, Misses a few Favourites

Last week remasters (though they’re more like remakes) of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 were announced, and they’d come bundled in one nostalgic package of joy.  Gameplay has been tweaked, classic maps revamped and brand new visuals that make the both games look stunning.

However, one of the most popular features of both the original games was the amazing soundtracks.  So Activision has released the 18-track playlist on Spotify, detailing the tunes that will be returning.  Sadly there are a five songs as confirmed by Kotaku that won’t be returning, which includes Bring the Noise from Public Enemy and Anthrax.

As well as Bring the Noise, Cyco Vision (Suicidal Tendencies), Committed (Unsane), B-Boy Document ’99 (The High & Mighty) and Out with The Old (Alley Life) won’t be returning.  It is also worth noting that Vilified by Evenrude and Screamer by Speedealer on not on the Spotify playlist, but that is because they’re not on Spotify, but they will both feature in the games.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2 is being developed by Vicarious Visions, the studio behind Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and will release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on September 4th.  Are you happy with the playlist for the remasters?  Let us know across our social media channels.
