Deathloop Announced as a Limited Time Exclusive to PS5

Arkane is hands down of the most creative studios around the world, one that has been responsible for some of the most immersive experiences such as Dishonored and Prey, harking to an era of system based games where player agency really comes into play without sacrificing a game’s story.

Deathloop looks to be doing just that with both an interesting premise and some really open-ended gameplay that sees player utilise interesting tools in order to solve their situation in unique ways.

 

The story follows Colt, a master assassin trapped in a loop that resets on his death. The only way he can get out of this loop is by assassinating 8 sinister individuals in the span of a single day. However, things won’t be as easy as they seem as a rival assassin stalks him from the shadows, looking for all opportunities to reset the loop by killing Colt.

The game will launch exclusively for the PS5 and PC this Holiday period, but will also come to the Xbox Series X down the line.
