It’s About Time! Crash Bandicoot 4 is Announced and Here’s its Trailer!
Even though there have been Crash Bandicoot releases well into the doubled figures, the last numbered entry was Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, which released way back on the original PlayStation in 1998.
Well now, a good 22 years later, a proper numbered sequel (not a spin-off) has been announced with Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time and it will release on October 2nd this year for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. At this time, there is no word on a Nintendo Switch release, but considering that the Switch did eventually get Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy (remasters of the first three games), I’m sure Crash Bandicoot 4 will release on the Nintendo platform at some point.
Developed by Toys for Bob, aaCrash Bandicoot 4, it is set after the events of Crash Bandicoot 3 and you’ll be able to play as Crash and Coco (who can be switched at any time), and at some point, you’ll also be able to play as the evil mad scientist, Neo Cortex.
As seen in the gameplay trailer below, not only does Crash and team look to have an updated art style, but the gameplay looks as fast, frantic and as challenging as you would come to expect from the beloved platforming series.
Crash Bandicoot 4: its About Time will release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 2nd.
