Comments Off on Following Negative Reactions to Leaked Footage, Crysis Remastered has Been Delayed

Earlier this week I came across which claimed to be Crysis Remastered gameplay footage, which had leaked on the Microsoft Store.  After watching the footage, I wasn’t all that impressed and it had crossed my mind that the trailer could have been fan-made somehow, and it seems that I wasn’t the only one who thought that.

However, it appears that this leaked footage was genuine and due to the negative reaction that it had received, EA has decided to delay the game, which is a good thing in my book.  Don’t get me wrong, the gameplay still looked decent, as too did the visuals, but for a game with a reputation such as Crysis, many thought the game deserved better.

So on the official social media pages, the news of the delay as announced.  The game was expected to release on July 23rd, but now it’s been pushed back with no new date and the only indication of its release is “Stay tuned, and we’ll have that game, in your hands as soon as we possibly can.

You can check out the leaked gameplay video for yourself below and be sure to let us know what you think.  Crysis Remastered will release for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
