Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope Out for Halloween & Collector’s Edition Announced
The release date for the second chapter to The Dark Pictures Anthology has just been announced by Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games (Until Dawn and Man of Medan), and its out just in time for Halloween!
The second chapter entitled Little Hope will see the player (or players) trapped in the sinister town of Little Hope in New England, a town that is home of the Salem Witch Trials as well as cults and supernatural beings that will make even the bravest of folks skin crawl. Little Hope will be playable with 1 to 5 players, and it’s up to you help the professor and his four students escape this little town of horrors alive!
To celebrate the release date announcement, a brand new trailer has been released, which you can find below. However, that is not all, because The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope will also be getting a Collector’s Edition.
Exclusive to the online Bandai Namco Shop, the Little Hope Collector’s Edition will have an RRP of £34.99 on PC, and £44.99 for PS4 and Xbox One (though postage within the UK is £9.87), and comes with the following items:
- The Little Hope game
- A collector’s box
- A Dark Pictures Anthology world Cloth Map
- Two map pins
- A steelbook (with 4 slots for all chapters)
- A replica of Mary’s 1692 poppet (15 cm)
Also, by pre-ordering Little Hope, you will get early access to The Curator’s Cut, which features new scenes, alternative playable characters with different choices, which will result in different outcomes. However, The Curator’s Cut will be free to all at a later date. Pre-Orders will also be gifted with the Little Hope digital soundtrack, composed by Jason Graves.
