By now we’re already probably quite numb to the sensation of a Mass Effect Trilogy Remaster ever releasing, after all, rumours have been circulating for a very long time and they’re showing no signs of ever going away.  However, these latest rumours are probably the strongest yet and it seems that a potential release could be just around the corner.

While speaking on the GamesBeat Podcast, videogame journalist Jeff Grubb not only claims that the remasters are in development, but the original plan was to reveal the Mass Effect Trilogy Remaster early October for it to release later that month.  However, the on-going COVID-19 pandemic has delayed that process, much like most things in today’s world.

During the podcast, Grubb stated that he knows “it’s real. I’ve seen more than enough evidence to know it’s real, but it’s still 2020 and they haven’t announced it yet.”  So even with the pandemic, I personally believe that the Mass Effect Trilogy Remaster could still be revealed and released this year or at the very latest, launch by February 2021 (in my humble opinion).
