After months and months of waiting, Microsoft has finally gone ahead and pulled the curtain on some much needed information regarding the upcoming Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S launch! Where the Xbox Series S’ price might have been mouth-watering, the Series X price for some, might be eye watering!

It has now been officially confirmed, that both Series X and Series S will be releasing on the 10th of November in the UK, with the powerful series X coming at £449, and the more budget option coming across at £249. This will not be the only option for purchase however, as All Access program has now been introduced for these new consoles.

All Access is a fantastic deal that basically bundles together Game Pass Ultimate (which includes Xbox Live Gold) and the console for an affordable monthly price with no upfront cost. This means that for as low as £20.99 a month, you will be able to get everything you need to start playing on launch day with the Series S! Paying just £8 more will net you the Series X variation, giving you the ultimate Xbox Experience. Both plans are 24 months long and as you can see in the comparison below, even the Series S contains the same impressive architecture!

If that wasn’t enough of a deal for you, Microsoft has also announced that EA Play will be joining Game Pass at no extra cost, adding even more games to an already impressive library. This addition will happen sometimes later this year! EA Play, is basically a Games Pass alternative that only contains EA games, including their titan titles like FIFA and Battlefield.

Honestly, I am glad that someone finally broke the silence on pricing and launch, as let’s be honest, this whole game of chicken was getting a tad bit irksome for people who had to plan their budgets. Now, it’s time to see what PlayStation has planned but I have a feeling that the price is going to be a bit higher, as their hard drive and architecture is really pricey. Hopefully we’ll know more soon!

The consoles will be available for pre-order from the 22nd of September from GAME or Smyths Toystore as well as other popular outlets.
