Playing the brilliant Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout on PS4, as far as I am aware, I’ve not encountered any cheating.  Though those pricks that hangout on the finish line waiting to grab you, rather than winning, will forever annoy me.  However, on PC, cheating has been a problem with such cheat mods as giving players super speed or being able to fly.

Initially the developers at Mediatonic created Cheaters Island, where cheats that were caught red handed, would be thrown into the server of fellow cheaters, away from other players that play the game properly.  However, this concept has backfired somewhat, because it appears to have encouraged some of the cheaters on Cheater Island to compete and out-cheat each other, as shown via the Tweets below.

So with the latest update to Fall Guys available now, Mediatonic will be implementing new anti-cheat software used by Epic Games, which they hope will fix the issue and not encourage some players to cheat even more.

The mid-season update will also bring in the Big Yeetus, the much talked about hammer that will be causing more mayhem for competing players squishing those that fall beneath it; however as seen in the trailer below, Big Yeetus can also work in your favour.

The update will also randomise some of the levels at a moment’s notice with a variety of obstacles and modifiers.  A number of fixes and tweaks will also be implemented to improve the players experience and game stability with the update.
