A free content update is ready to go, the next time you load up Mafia: Definitive Edition.  The star feature of the content update, is the Noire Mode, this mode will add a vintage black & white filter, to give you that classic cinema aesthetic, which can be toggled on and off via the in-game menu.

Other new features with the free content update includes new ways to customise you’re in-game HUD which allows to toggle various markers, and indications on or off, such as objective markers, the GPS or enemy locations.  You can even remove all HUD features, if you want to take a snazzy screenshot.

The update will also add a “Free Ride” mode, which 2K are not giving to much away, other than stating while driving in this mode “you might find one of a couple new gameplay features that we’ve added to the mode. We’ll leave the specifics for you to discover and hope you fare well in Lost Heaven.

The update will also fix a number of reported bugs and issues.  Have you tried the new content update, if so; be sure to let us know what this Free Ride mode is all about.  Also, keep a look out for our review of Mafia: Definitive Edition coming soon.
