Metro Exodus Free Next-Gen Upgrade Detailed

Developers 4A Games has revealed details on the next-gen upgrade for Metro Exodus.

As you would expect the base next-gen improvements include a 4K resolution, a framerate of 60fps and improved load times.

Along with both pieces of DLC, Metro Exodus will also benefit from Ray Traced Global Illumination and Ray Traced Emissive Lighting.  There will also be various quality of life improvements and tweaks.

When the free update arrives, it will also bring support for the PS5’s DualSense controller.  In the blog post from 4A Games the developers said: “Anyone who’s frantically tried to pump up the pressure on their Tikhar in the middle of a pitched battle will be able to imagine the kind of thing we’re aiming for!“
