Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic Is Getting A Remake #PlayStationShowcase
Well, it’s official! After endless months (perhaps years) of speculation, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is getting a remake.
Revealed at the PlayStation Showcase, the remake will be developed by Aspyr Media, a team already family with Star Wars remasters. So, this remake should be in good hands. This will be a remake from the ground up.
In the reveal trailer, we saw the iconic Darth Revan, and Jennifer Hale will be returning as Bastila Shan.
In the past, the studio has handled ports of Star Wars: Jedi Knight II, Episode 1 Race and Republic Commando. They’ve even handled the mobile ports of Knights of the Old Republic and Jade Empire from BioWare.

No release date was revealed for the remake, but it will be a PS5 launch exclusive, as well as for PC, before coming to other platforms. No release date was given for the remake, but we should expect quite a long wait.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was the game that got me into RPGs, so I am beyond excited that we’re getting this remake.
