Apparently, it will cost you a whopping $1000 (£750) to buy all the season one content in Halo Infinite.

Thanks to recent datamined (thanks Pure Xbox), Reddit users have shared an estimate of how much it will cost to buy all the season one content in the 343 Industries multiplayer shooter.

Slow progression aside (which is apparently being fixed), it will take the average gamer an age to unlock all the content in season one. To be fair, it would also take even the most resolute player an age. That’s if they can unlock all the content by the May 2022 deadline, when the season ends.

However, with this being a free-to-play shooter, of course, the game is heavily monetised. So, if you wanted to buy all the cosmetics in Halo Infinite, it’s going to cost you a pretty penny. To put things into perspective, for the same amount of money, you will have enough to buy two Xbox Series X consoles, and still, have change left over.

Halo Infinite does have a free and premium season pass, and much of this content isn’t included. However, as tempted as I am to buy the season pass until they speed up progression, I’ll be holding out on that purchase.
