Here’s The Stunning Trailer For A Plague Tale Sequel, Requiem

At The Game Awards, we were treated to a trailer for A Plague Tale: Innocence sequel and it was gloriously grim (as you might expect).

When A Plague Tale: Innocence was first released in 2019, it became one of the surprise hits of the year. It was developed by a small studio, but had a big budget quality in gameplay, visuals, and immersion. So, no pressure for the sequel then?

In A Plague Tale: Requiem, Amicia and Hugo’s harrowing tale of escape and adventure will continue. Only now they’re both a little wiser and battle-hardened. But I have no doubts nothing will be able to prepare them for the tests they are yet to face.

The gameplay trailer features a combination of cinematics and gameplay, and it looks very impressive indeed. According to the press release: “in this new trailer, as Robert Louis Stevenson’s poem “Requiem” sets the tone, witness the first glimpses of Amicia and Hugo’s epic adventure in a brutal, breath-taking world twisted by supernatural forces. After escaping their devastated homeland, Amicia and Hugo journey far south to new regions and vibrant cities.

“Discover the cost of saving those you love in a desperate struggle for survival. Strike from the shadows or unleash hell, overcoming foes and challenges with a variety of crafted tools and supernatural powers.”
