Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is getting 48 remastered courses via DLC expansion. The DLC will release over 6 waves until 2023.

The 48 courses included are taken from favourite instalments from the beloved Nintendo franchise from Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario Kart DS and even the mobile game, Mario Kart Tour.

The six waves released between March 2022 and the end of 2023 will each include 8 courses. Each of the tracks can be played locally and online. Dubbed the Booster Course Pass, it will have an RRP of £22.49/€24.99/$24.99. The first wave will launch on March 18th.

The Booster Course Pass will also be included in the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack at no extra cost. However, if that subscription ends, you won’t have access to the DLC. So, there are pros and cons to whichever way you choose to access the content.

Included in wave one of the Mario Kart 8: Deluxe Booster Course Pas is:

  • Paris Promenade (Mario Kart Tour)
  • Toad Circuit (Mario Kart 3DS)
  • Choco Mountain (Mario Kart 64)
  • Coconut Hall (Mario Kart Wii)
  • Tokyo Blur (Mario Kart Tour)
  • Shroom Ridge (Mario Kart DS)
  • Sky Garden (Mario Kart Advance)
  • Ninja Hideaway (Mario Kart Tour)

Personally, I don’t think the price for the Booster Course Pass is too bad, considering you get 48 remastered courses. Will you be picking up the Booster Course Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe? Let us know across our social media channels.
