Claim This Mythical Pokemon For Free In Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

As part of Pokemon Day over the weekend, you will be able to claim a free Mythical in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl.

The free Mythical in question is the grass-type Pokemon, Shaymin. This Pokemon can be claimed by receiving an Oak’s Letter in-game after the Mystery Gift function is unlocked. You can also encounter Shaymin once you have visited the Hall of Fame and obtained the National Pokedex.

However, you won’t be able to claim Shaymin forever. This Pokemon will only be available until March 27^th, so make sure you claim it before then. Also as a heads up, be sure to have the most recent update downloaded for Brilliant Diamond and/or Shining Pearl. The update can be activated either by booting up the game or by pressing ‘+’ on the Home screen icon.
