The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Sequel Delayed Until 2023
Nintendo has announced that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel has been delayed until 2023.
In fact, it won’t release until Spring 2023, so we can expect to wait a full year until its arrival. That being said, I think most of us probably never expected it to release this year anyway.

Originally scheduled to release this year, news of its delay was announced in a video with series producer Eiji Aonuma. In a nutshell, the reason for the delay is to ensure that the game is the best it can be and to be fair, I think we can all appreciate that.
Furthermore, during the video announcing the delay, there is also a small snippet of new gameplay that looks like Link is handling the Master Sword.
At least with this delay, it gives us extra time to save up the money to buy the sequel, especially if we’re after a collector’s edition. Are you disappointed by the delay? Let us know across our social media channels.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel will release in Spring 2023 for Nintendo Switch.
