‘The Quarry’ From Supermassive Games Will Have 186 Endings!

It has been revealed that The Quarry from Supermassive games will have an incredible 186 alternative endings.
If you’re familiar with the likes of Until Dawn as well as The Dark Pictures Anthology, then you will know that Supermassive Games’ are all about replayability. However, having 186 alternative endings is on another level.

The news of the 186 endings in The Quarry was revealed during a video from IGN with the game’s director, Will Byles.
“We write it like a movie screenplay, actors are used to a 100-page script [on a film], the script for this is over 1000 pages. [The actors] can get very alarmed,” Byles said. “We have to shoot 50 pages a day, which is unheard of. It’s a mad amount of footage.”
Byles continued: “We worked out 186 different endings for those characters, not just alive or dead… the stories that they have on the way through are massively varied. Branches really are a mathematical nightmare. It’s just exponential.”
