WWE Is Developing an RPG Game, Yes, Really
WWE is developing an RPG game. Yes, this is actually a thing and apparently, it is happening.
The WWE RPG game was first teased by Simon Miller, and WWE’s Xavier Woods or Austin Creed as he’s known on the Up, Up, Down, Down YouTube Channel. Last week there was an interaction with the duo with a wink gif.
However, as reported by Eurogamer, the news of the upcoming RPG was confirmed during a WWE financial call, and it will be announced “soon”.
WWE Financial Call:
“We have recently signed a deal for a WWE RPG game.”

The news was revealed by WWE’s chief brand manager, Stephanie McMahon. “We continue to see strength in the performance of our mobile games with 2K and Scopely, SuperCard and Champions”.
“[WWE] recently signed a new deal in the role-playing game space that will be announced soon,” continued McMahon. “We also continue to evaluate the metaverse, both walled garden environments that already exist as well as decentralised properties, look to hear more in the coming months.”
However, before some of us get excited, it concerns me that Stephanie McMahon mentions the likes of SuperCard and Champions, both of which are mobile games. So, I think it’s safe to assume that the WWE RPG will also be a mobile title.
