The Metroid Prime remaster will be released this year for the Nintendo Switch, claims a recent report.

According to Jeff Grubb, he claimed on a Giant Bomb show that the Metroid Prime remaster will release at the end of this year. Furthermore, it is claimed it will be released in time for Prime’s 20th anniversary in November.

I can say that I’ve been told pretty definitively that Metroid Prime Remastered is going to be one of their big holiday games,” said Grubb.

In the past, I’d heard something was in the works [and] they had things happening with that game. Now I’ve been told that their plans are to release that game this holiday, I think almost certainly to line up with the 20th anniversary in November.

Grubb also claims that eventually, all three Metroid Prime games will get a remaster, however, the original game will arrive first.
