CD Project Red announce Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a sequel
CD Projekt Red has announced that Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a sequel. Happy days!
Quite literally nothing else is known about the sequel, other than it will be developed in-house and it currently has the codename “Project Orion”.
It will be safe to assume that the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel will be many years away from being released. It’s worth keeping in mind that Cyberpunk 2077 was first announced in 2012 and it will not be released until 2020 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Before native PS5 and Xbox Series X|S ports finally arrived in 2022.

Furthermore, considering the shit show that was the Cyberpunk 2077 launch, hopefully, CD Projekt Red won’t repeat the mistakes of Cyberpunk 2077 and the sequel will launch in a much, much better state. Of course, with the release being so many years away, the sequel will not release for PS4 or Xbox One.
