Square Enix lets us know that Crisis Core – Final Fantasy 7 – Reunion is more than just a remaster.

In a new gameplay trailer, we get to marvel at the new and improved HD visuals, an updated combat system and even a “newly arranged soundtrack.

Furthermore, Square Enix has released an infographic that details the various resolution and framerate details for all platforms in which Crisis Core – Final Fantasy 7 – Reunion is available. You can also check out the PC system requirements via the official Steam page.

It’s been quite clear since its announcement that the Crisis Core remaster is more like a remake. At least in my opinion. This game is a remake of the original game that was released for the PSP in 2007/08.

In case you didn’t know: “The story of CRISIS CORE –FINAL FANTASY VII– REUNION begins seven years before the events of FINAL FANTASY VII and follows Zack Fair, a young Shinra SOLDIER operative. As his adventure unfolds, he discovers the dark secrets of Shinra’s experiments and the monsters they create.

Crisis Core – Final Fantasy 7 – Reunion will release on December 13th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
