The latest Wild Hearts gameplay trailer teaches us the tricks of the trade in the hope that we can master our hunting skills.
The gameplay trailer in question is the first episode of the Monogatari (Narrative) series, for Wild Hearts, which looks to be a fierce rival to Capcom’s ever-popular Monster Hunter.
Monogatari Episode 1: “sheds light on the game’s unique Karakuri system, sophisticated mechanisms crafted from a lost, ancient technology; designed to be diverse and multi-functional, Karakuri gives players the upper hand in battle, as well as when gathering resources and travelling across hunting grounds.”
Like the Karakuri, you must be adaptable… And like the Kemono, you must be ferocious!

Furthermore, the trailer also details: “Karakuri give players a creative, dynamic edge during combat – as they learn new forms and combinations, players can better prepare their hunting grounds and create advantageous conditions for their fight against giant Kemono beasts.”
In Wild Hearts, you will explore the lands of Azuma on your lonesome or with two other friends to track and hunt mythical creatures known as “Kemono”.
Wild Hearts will feature crossplay for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and launches on February 17th, 2023.
