Metroid Prime Remastered scalpers are trying their best to rip you off. Shocking news, I know.

Earlier this week, the physical version of Metroid Prime Remastered was released in the US. So with stock being in short supply on release, scalpers are trying to be scalpers by attempting to sell the game for inflated prices.

Thankfully, as reported by Nintendo Life, it seems Nintendo is already on the case. However, it will require some added patience from eager fans. Nintendo Life contacted Nintendo of America and received this positive reply:

We will do everything we can to meet the strong demand for the product. Please continue to check with major retailers for availability. If the Metroid Prime Remastered game sells out at various retail locations in the U.S., we will work to provide more units as soon as possible.

So, in a nutshell, if you were unable to purchase a copy of Metroid Prime Remastered in the US, so hold out and you’ll no doubt get your copy at the regular RRP.

As for the UK and Europe, the physical copy of Metroid Prime Remastered releases this Friday on 3rd March. From what I can tell, the game is easily available to pre-order in the UK.

However, should the game be hard to come by at launch, just be a little patient and don’t feed the scalpers. As I always say, stop feeding the monster and the monster will eventually go away. If all else fails, the digital version is also available via the Nintendo eShop.
