Final Fantasy XI Players Get Prepared for Abyssea

This Sunday morning Square Enix has announced at Vana Fest, three new add-on scenarios for Final Fantasy XI.

Square Enix haven’t openly said when its going to launch but they have estimated some point through 2010. The content will introduce “new stages for epic combat, providing high-level players with new equipment to collect and challenging monsters to battle.”

The first of the content areas: “Vision of Abyssea” is scheduled to launch in the summer of 2010, then to be followed by the second part of the content which will be released after.

There will also be some additional releases: “Scars of Abyssea” and “Heroes of Abyssea” which will be available from the Playonline viewer at an estimated price of £7.99.  This content will be available on the Playstation 2, Xbox 360 and PC. You will have to have Zilar and Wings Of The Goddess for the new content.
