What a great way to start off a Monday morning; watching three people who know nothing about video games tell me and all of us that we are racist, sexist and depressed but indelible good looking. (The last bit was a joke. Get it?)

So what is this all about? Well if any of you still watch ITV you might have heard of The Alan Titchmarsh Show and on there every week they have some kind of so-called debate where this week it was all about video game violence and how bad it is for everyone including kids who should not be playing games that are rated 15+.

CVG editor Tim Ingham appeared on the show to co-debate the issue of violence in games with Titchmarsh and actress/sexpert Julie Peasgood as well as former Sun editor Kelvin McKenzie.

The war of words was very one sided with Tim Ingham on the defence straight away but it really didn’t matter as none of the other three even knew the games had the same age rating system that movies have.

There is loads more fun to be had… Just watch this YouTube clip.

Make sure you write a nice letter to ITV all the address are at the end of the clip.
