Underground Heading To Wii U January 8th
Grendel Games have recently revealed that their latest game, Underground, will be released on the Nintendo eShop this Thursday on the Wii U for £15.99. While games are, more often than not, created solely for the purposes of entertainment, this wasn’t always the way Underground was meant to be viewed.
The game was originally developed by Grendel Games as an innovative training tool for surgical doctors in-training and, in their words, “(it) turned out to be the most amazing and fun game we’ve created thus far.” The game itself tells a heart-warming tale of a little girl (Sari) who is trying to save her robot friend (Sw4nk). While it was originally designed as a teaching device, of sorts, it looks as though Grendel Games have worked tirelessly to make the game appealing to the gaming community and the Wii U could be the perfect place for it.
Of some of the features listed, Underground has gameplay mechanics which revolve around controlling 2 robotic arms, with the ability to freely build your own way out of the mines, varying difficulties, an incredible soundtrack and the controls have been altered to match that of medical trainees.
Underground will be released on the Wii U on January 8th and we’ll have a video review available a few days later.
