Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for PS5 releases September, says voice actor

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for PlayStation 5 apparently releases this September, says a voice actor for the game.

The release window was seemingly confirmed by Candyman and horror legend Tony Todd who is also playing Venom in the Insomniac Games sequel.

Responding to a fan on Twitter, Todd replied: “Looks like September! Massive publicity coming in August. Commercials start dropping in August so I’m told. Hold on to your … and hold breath! Gonna be necessary.”

I think it’s fair to say that Todd wasn’t supposed to reveal the September release window, despite us already knowing that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is releasing later this year. So expect this tweet to be removed imminently.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will release for the PlayStation 5 later this year. In my review of Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4, I called it a “cinematic and gameplay master class”. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered is also available for PC and PS5.
