Sadly, We Can’t Pre-Download Halo Infinite Campaign

Sadly, we won’t be able to pre-download the Halo Infinite campaign ahead of its launch later today which weighs in at 70GB.

As you’re aware, today is the highly anticipated release of the Halo Infinite campaign which releases worldwide at the same time (though time zones vary). Usually, we’ve been able to pre-download most first-party Xbox games. For example, we were able to download the Halo Infinite free-to-play multiplayer prior to its official launch. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to do the same for the campaign.

The news was confirmed by Halo community director, Brian Jarrad when responding to a follower. “Sorry, there will not be an option to pre-load the Halo Infinite campaign,” replied Jarrad. “(I’m not sure of the exact technical reasons, but unfortunately it’s not a thing).”

It sucks, as it would have been nice to have gotten ahead, especially if you work and you wanted to download the campaign for when you got home. For interest, you will be able to download the Halo Infinite campaign at the following time zones detailed below.
