Death Stranding 2 was announced at The Game Awards 2022 with a stunning trailer.

The trailer opened up with Fragile (Lea Seydoux) being pursued by some soldiers collectively known as APAC before everything goes all typically Hideo Kojima weird. Towards the end of the trailer, we then see an older Sam Porter Bridges (Normal Reedus) and what I assumed is a masked Higgs (Troy Baker). Speaking of which, Mr Baker provided some vocals in the song featured in the trailer, performed by Ludvig Forssell.

In my review of the original Death Stranding, I said: “You may very well find that you hate it, but if not, this could very well be your Game of the Year, and with a game as “connected”  and polarising as Death Stranding, it will no doubt keep us talking, theorising and speculating for years to come, and that is truly something spectacular.

No release date was given for Death Stranding 2; however, we do know that it will be released for PlayStation 5. Are you hyped for Death Stranding 2? Let us know across our social media channels.
