We were treated to the first gameplay trailer for Final Fantasy 16 at State of Play.
The gameplay trailer is about as over the top as you’d expect for the Final Fantasy series, and it also looks absolutely stunning too.
It breaks us—it unmakes us—that its immaculate aspect might reveal itself.

While we didn’t get a solid release date, we did get a summer 2023 release window. Final Fantasy 16 will be released for the PlayStation 5.
