Here’s 9 new minutes of Death Stranding 2

Kojima Productions treated us to nine minutes of new Death Stranding 2 gameplay footage and somehow, it was a little more wacky than I expected.

Oh, and the rumoured subtitle has now also been confirmed, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. Though from what I’ve seen in this trailer, it’s no summer holiday.

“In Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, embark on an inspiring mission of human connection beyond the UCA. Sam—with companions by his side—sets out on a new journey to save humanity from extinction,” reads the press release from Kojima Productions. “Join them as they traverse a world beset by otherworldly enemies, obstacles and a haunting question: should we have connected? Step by step, legendary game creator Hideo Kojima changes the world once again.”

We have no solid release date yet, but we do know that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be released in 2025 for PlayStation 5.
