Is this PlayStation ad teasing a new Uncharted?

Sony recently released a trailer advertising its most popular mascots as well as letting everyone know that PS5 stock should be plenty from now on.

The live-action trailer featured the likes of God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Gran Turismo 7 and more. However, there was one seemingly unknown game that looked like Uncharted.

The apparent Uncharted moment featured a lady in a cave seemingly about to grab some treasure. However, rather than featuring series mascot Nathan Drake, it or even Chloe Frazier, this appeared to be another individual.

Of course, this could be nothing and just a random actress. Anyone that finished the epilogue of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End might put two and two together. Uncharted developers Naughty Dog recently suggested that it was moving on from the series. 

However, that doesn’t mean that a potential Uncharted 5 couldn’t be outsourced to another studio. Especially as that wouldn’t be the first time. In 2011, Days Gone developer, Bend Studio released Uncharted: Golden Abyss as well as Uncharted: Fight for Fortune for the PS Vita.

Hopefully, there is something to this PlayStation advert, because it would be a crime if there were no more Uncharted games. Though, I think that world would be unlikely.
