Onimusha Netflix anime gets first action-packed trailer

Capcom’s Onishuma series is getting an anime adaptation and it’s coming to the streaming platform Netflix.

The Onimusha anime was first announced in 2022, but this week, Capcom and Netflix treated us to its very first trailer, it’s action-packed and it looks awesome. The anima uses its 3D animation and cel-shaded art style to wonderful effects. It tells the story of samurai Musashi Miyamoto, set during the Sengoku period (1477 – 1573).

“With a demonic, soul-consuming weapon in hand, can a legendary swordsman and a samurai brotherhood defeat a bloodthirsty zombie uprising?” reads the synopsis of the Onimusha adaptation.

Onimusha arrives on Netflix on 2 November 2023.
