During the recent State of Play event from Sony, we were treated to a new gameplay trailer for Silent Hill 2.
The gameplay trailer in question gave us our best look yet at the remake developed by Bloober Team. It was packed full of action, monsters and puzzle-solving. During the trailer, we got a glimpse at the Lying Figures, Bubble Nurses, Mannequins and a very brief ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ look at Pyramid Head.
The trailer looked good and was accompanied by a version of Silent Hill 2’s iconic soundtrack from Akira Yamaoka. I just hope that the full game isn’t as combat-focused as this trailer might suggest.
It’s expected that the Silent Hill 2 remake will be released this year for PC and PlayStation 5.
