Sony announces stunning Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 console
Fans have been waiting a long time for this to happen, but now we can look forward to the first Limited Edition PS5 console.
The console is for the upcoming Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 from Insomniac Games. The limited edition PlayStation 5 console is inspired by Spider-Man and his symbiote arch-nemesis, Venom and as part of the console bundle, you’ll also get a matching DualSense controller as well as a standard digital copy of the game and a pre-order bonus.
My initial thought when I saw this console, is that I already have a PS5 and I cannot afford to splash the cash, but fear not. As we know, the PS5 has detachable faceplate covers and if like me, you already have a PS5, you can buy the faceplate covers separately, as well as the DualSense controller. Pre-orders will go live this week on 28 July via PlayStation Direct and select retailers.
The Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition console, faceplate covers and DualSense controller will be released on 1 September 2023. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (the game), will be released for PlayStation 5 on 20 October 2023.
