Toukiden: Kiwami – Release Date Announcement

 

Toukiden, originally released on the Playstation Vita exclusively, was a great attempt to breach Monster Hunter fans and heavily entrenched ground with a monster infested Slayer sim of its own from the developers at Tecmo Koei. Now a little over a year after its initial release in February 2014, Toukiden: Kiwami is a huge expansion on the game that will not only be released on the Playstation Vita, but also on the Playstation 4. Not only that but it’s packed with new content out the ear holes!

The game will feature the entire Age of Demons story, alongside the new story which is roughly of the same length. 3 new weapons have also been announced and with those weapons come the 3 new masters of each weapon as main characters in the story cast. Reiki, Soma and Horo join the cast wielding the Naginata, Kanbo and Gun/Rifle respectively, each with their own back-story in the new saga.

The current release date of March 31st is held for an American release, but no EU release has been announced at this time. Keep your eyes on Push-Start for more info as it becomes available!
