Its common knowledge that the next Gears of War is in development by Black Tusk Studios, while no estimated release has been announced, most would assume that the release is around two years away.  Though following a tweet from Xbox chief Phil Spencer, he indicates that its development is going very well, as he says the studio are making “massive progress” with the game.  But don’t go expecting a release during 2015, as Black Tusk Studio manager Rod Fergusson said that “We’re only 100 days in.”

While we know nothing of the games storyline at the moment, we do know that the series is not being rebooted for the new generation.  As always, whenever we hear more on one of Xbox’s biggest franchises, we’ll update you right away (fingers crossed for an E3 2015 announcement).
