Sonic is Getting a 3D Animated Series on Netflix next Year

Sonic the Hedgehog is getting a new animated series coming to Netflix in 2022.

The new animated series is in collaboration with SEGA and WildBrain and it will be a 24-episode series called Sonic Prime.

The story of Sonic Prime is see’s our favourite blue hedgehog saving the universe while going on a journey of “self-discovery and redemption”.

While SEGA and WildBrain will be production, distributing and will handle the licensing, Man of Action Entertainment  (Ben 10 and Big Hero 6) will be the showrunners and executive producers with Dominique Bazay directing.
