Super Mario Bros. Movie is officially one of the most successful animated movies ever!
Super Mario Bros. Movie had generated over £300 million at the worldwide box office making it the biggest opening weekend for an animated movie of all time.

However, on Rotten Tomatoes, Super Mario Bros. Movie has split the difference between critics and the general audience. At the time of writing, it has a score of 56% from critics and 96% from the audience. That being said, it’s the box office money that has done all the talking.
