The Last of Us and 24 actress, Annie Wersching passes away at 45

The Last of Us and 24 actress, Annie Werching has passed away at just the age of 45 following a battle with cancer.

For various people, as an actress, Annie Wersching meant something different to each fan. Personally, I became a fan of Annie during her role as Renee Walker in 24 of course her role as Tess in The Last of Us series from Naughty Dog.

We at Naughty Dog are deeply saddened to hear of Annie Wersching’s passing. We keep her in our hearts and memories, and we hope that her family may find peace during this time.

Annie also starred in Star Trek, Angel, Charmed, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, and so much more. In a statement shared by Deadline, Annie’s husband Stephen Full paid tribute to his wife and mother of his children.

There is a cavernous hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it. She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn’t require music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. ‘Go find it. It’s everywhere.’ And find it we shall.

As I drove our boys, the true loves of her life, down the winding driveway and street, she would yell BYE! until we were out of earshot and into the world. I can still hear it ringing. Bye my Buddie. ‘I love you little family…’
