The Last of Us HBO season 2 begins filming early 2024
When season one of HBO’s The Last of Us arrived on our TV screens earlier in the year it proved without a shadow of a doubt that video game adaptations can be quite brilliant.
However, due to the recent WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, production for season two was put on hold, but that looks to be all but over. As reported by Variety, production for The Last of Us season two is set to begin early 2024 with the season arriving on our screens sometime in 2025.
At this time we do not know what story the second season will follow, but it’s at least to be in some part influenced by The Last of Us: Part II. Hopefully, Naughty Dog will reveal all the juicy details in the coming months.
