A Quiet Place Is Getting Its Own Video Game

It has been announced that the hit horror movie franchise A Quiet Place is getting its own video game adaptation.
It’s not very often that we get any kind of movie tie-in nowadays, and for good reason. Most video game movie tie-ins are usually very poor representations of their source material.
Here we are, and A Quiet Place is getting its own game. It will be developed by iLLOGIKA, a studio that has previously worked on the Rainbow Six and Far Cry series. So at least they have some experience working on big franchises at least.

A Quiet Place will be a “single-player, story-driven horror adventure” based upon the movies from Paramount Pictures. The developers hope to “deliver an original story and gameplay that captures the compelling suspense, emotion and drama for which the series is famous.”
The game will also be published by Saber Interactive, the company behind the likes of World War Z and the upcoming Evil Dead: The Game.
“The A Quiet Place video game will let fans experience the tension of the films with a level of immersion they’ve never felt before,” said Hervé Sliwa, Creative Director at iLLOGIKA. “We’re excited to work with EP1T0ME and to team up with Saber Interactive to share this unique vision of hope and horror with players everywhere in the future.”
