Alan Wake Remastered Appears On Retailer, Could Be Announced This Week

Rumours of an Alan Wake Remastered have been around for a fair while now. However, these most recent rumours perhaps give us the strongest indication that an announcement is imminent.

Over the weekend Alan Wake Remastered was discovered on Rakuten Taiwan, and it was listed for PS4, PS5 and Xbox One. It has since been removed. Was this retailer a little bit too frisky before an official announcement? Perhaps.

News of the leak was shared on Twitter by serial leaker Wario64, which then received an interesting response from industry analyst Daniel Ahmed who claims that Alan Wake Remastered will be announced this week.

So why could Alan Wake Remastered be announced this week? Well, we of course have that PlayStation 5 showcase airing on Thursday. This would surely be the perfect time for such an announcement.

If an Alan Wake sequel was to ever arrive, it will likely be some years away from release. However, Alan Wake Remastered would be a great way to pass on the time until the sequel arrives.
