Aliens: Dark Descent was announced during Summer Game Fest, and it’s a promising squad-based tactical shooter.

Published by Focus Entertainment and developed by Tindalos Interactive, Aliens: Dark Descent is based upon the ever-popular movie franchise. It’s 2.D top-down perspective gives me Alien Breed vibes. However, Alien Breed is a series inspired by Alien(s).

Aliens: Dark Descent will have an original story as you lead a squad of marines in real-time combat into a hive of the galaxy’s most deadly creatures. These marines had no idea what horrors they have walked into, and now their mission is to simply survive.

Personally, I like the look of Aliens: Dark Descent, however, I do have one gripe. My first instinct was this would be a game that could be played co-op with friends. Unfortunately, it is a single player game. Though I’m sure it will still be fun.
