Alone in the Dark – new gameplay shows off story, combat and puzzles

If you’re looking forward to the upcoming remake of survival horror classic Alone in the Dark, then you might want to check out this new trailer.

The new trailer in question showcases some “unedited” gameplay, story conversations, combat, puzzles and more.

“Immerse in gloomy neighbourhoods and dangerous situations, questioning what’s real and what’s not. Ammo is scarce, and the monsters are pure nightmare material—sometimes it’s better to run and avoid fights,” reads the Alone in the Dark press release from THQ Nordic.

“The scenes will vary depending on whether you’re playing as Emily or Edward, making it worth experiencing both perspectives with two playthroughs. However, no matter how safe a moment may seem, the tide can quickly turn…”

Developed by Pieces Interactive, Alone in the Dark will be released on 16 January 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
