Assassin’s Creed Mirage is being released this week and tells the story of Basim Ibn Ishaq, who we first met in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Set during the Golden Age of Baghdad, Iraq in the 9th century of 861, 12 years prior to the events of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, we play as a younger Basim who is finding his way in the Brotherhood of Assassins. However, to help bring us up to speed with the upcoming game, Ubisoft has released a very handy timeline trailer.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage aims to bring back the emphasis on stealth when it releases this week on 5 October for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
