Update 1.2 is now live for Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla which brings a new festival, new skills, and more!  Oh and most importantly, it will bring more cats to England!

The headline of the update is the new Ostara Festival which begins on Thursday, March 18th to April 8th.

The Ostara Festival will bring new missions, activities, and rewards to earn, and we’ll even be getting an Easter Egg hunt!

Details are vague at the time of the Ostara Festival, but Ubisoft has promised all will be revealed on the festival launch day this Thursday.

New Skills arriving with the update are as followed:

  • Fearless Leaper = When activated, the leap attack damage has a larger area of effect and can be done at any height.
  • Raven’s Loot = Your raven gathers loot from targets killed with ranged attacks.
  • Loot Food = Eivor now has a higher chance of looting food from dead bodies.

The update will of course make a whole host of other improvements, new additions as well as the various quality of life improvements.

Oh, the cats!  How could I forget about the cats!  According to the patch notes “there will now be more cats throughout England. The best clutter.”  MEOW!!!

Finally update 1.2 is quite large coming in at 15.5GB on PC, 12.81GB on Xbox One, 17.97GB on Xbox Series X|S, 12.6GB on PS4, and 12.18 on PS5.

In our review of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, we said if: “The Elders Scrolls V: Skyrim and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag got together and had a baby, Valhalla would be its love child.
